Since 2016 Richard has made several journeys back to Co.Mayo Ireland, interspersed between the working visits to Japan - which gave rise to ‘The Song of Koumi Exhibition’ in Koumi.

The works of this Exhibition are the result of these three highly productive years.

The stark cultural contrast between West and East, which might have been distracting and confusing, is the very thing that spurred Richard on to a greater depth of understanding and presence in the archetypal themes of The Mountain, Water and Trees. An enhancement caused by his increasing experience of The Universal behind diversity. Throughout every aspect of this work is a steadfast affirmation that its origin is anchored, above all, in the Light.

“Looking back over the intensive two weeks of the exhibition, it is clear that its success would not have been possible without the assistance and support of Naomi Hasegawa.

Throughout the continuous fourteen days we were open, the consistent stream of visitors that I had to attend to, would have prohibited any attention to the vital administration behind the scenes if it were not for Naomi’s support. The substantial increase in visitor attendance was a direct result of her carefully honed Instagram campaign.

Today, over a month since the exhibition, I received an inspirational message from a supporter, who due to illness had been unable to attend the exhibition. He spoke of still being haunted by the images of the exhibition, thanks to the skill of Naomi. This is but one of a stream of examples I could sight endorsing the transformational ingredient that she can bring to any similar event.”

Installation Works

A wide variety of installation and installation-related works, including but not limited to selection, framing, hanging, creating arrangements and finishings of work, creation of appropriate tags, flower arrangements and an aid in creative problem solving, general assistance and organisation.

All with an eye for detail and precision, to make a collection come together and feel like a whole.

Administration and Cataloguing

To keep an exhibition of this scale organised there is a need for more than a little administrative work. This includes creating an inventory, PDF files containing the details of each work, updating the Artist’s website, maintaining a price list and creating a digital folio to send to important clients abroad.

Creating invoices, keeping track of sold pieces in a Gallery Log and following up with clients who are interested in the works.
