“Our bird houses - made by people with a distance to the labor market, crafted from local wood - contribute to a special initiative. By using trees from the relevant municipality, sustainability is stimulated and local natural resources are used. This project provides opportunities for people to develop their skills and promote social interaction. The traditional quality of the boxes makes them attractive to gardeners and bird watchers, who not only support processionary caterpillar control, but also make a valuable social contribution.
